Birds of course would like it to spread their wings and fly, but inside cages, they cannot fully enjoy flying.  However, in aviaries, they can do so much of the flying with some of their other family of birds. If you plan to disinfect the entire aviary, make sure to provide a place where you can temporarily relocate the birds to prevent them from being intoxicated by the fumes of the disinfectants.
